Skopje, 19 May – The 6th session of the Transport of Dangerous Goods Committee was held today. The Regional partners discussed the ongoing activities concerning the implementation of the Directive 2008/68/EC and the progress achieved in this area. On this occasion, Transport Community Permanent Secretariat invited the participants to a more in depth discussion on enforcement of road transport of dangerous goods rules according to Directive 95/50/EC. A roadmap paving the way for further cooperation in this sector is currently under discussion by this Committee.
A specialised workshop will be organised in Romania in September to start exchanges of experience on these topics.
