The 1st meeting of the Road Technical Committee of the Transport Community took place today in Belgrade, in the premises of Permanent Secretariat.
This Technical Committee has been set up to assist South East European parties in view to improve the quality of their road system. This includes the establishment of an efficient maintenance systems, the setting up of sustainable road financing mechanisms, the deployment of an ITS system at regional level compliant with the EU legal standards on interoperability and the decarbonisation of road transport including resilience aspects and smart mobility.
